PromoGuy’s Monday Mission 3.18
Back Again..
Source: PromoGuy.net
This is the first Monday Mission I’ve done in a long while, mostly because some of the questions got weird. Well, they’re still weird, but after the overwhelming response I got on my Friday Five, I’ve decided to start doing more of these during the week to give my blog back that personal style it’s been lacking for a few weeks. So here goes…
PromoGuy’s Monday Mission 3.18
1. Are there any confrontations you have been avoiding that you know you will eventually have to deal with? What’s that all about?
Oh man, my arch-nemesis at work is on the borderline of getting canned, and I’m just waiting for that confrontation. I’ve been in a good mood all day just waiting for it, but now it looks like it’ll be tomorrow before any drama happens.. Oh well..
2. When was the last time you surprised yourself by being more brave than you ever thought you could be?
Well.. let’s just say I’m not very good with introducing myself to women. Okay I really stink at it. Well I once saw this very cute waitress that worked at Denny’s and I decided to just ask her out. I felt so small and vulnerable but I did it anyway. She shot me down, but it felt good that I actually TRIED which is more than I’ve ever done before that point. Maybe it won’t be as nerve-wrecking the next time.. Who am I kidding?
3. You know that sickly feeling you get when are speeding and out of the corner of your eye you realize you just passed a hidden police car? It is that “deer-caught-in-the-headlights” feeling, where you are so busted there is no way out. When was the last time you were in a situation like that?
Oh man.. It’d have to have been over a year ago when I got in trouble for screwing around on the internet during work hours a little too much. I had no excuse and deserved the reaming I got.
4. Do you have any things stored away that you just can’t get rid of but will probably of no sentimental value to anyone once you are gone? Why do we hang on to that stuff? Do you think you could sell or auction it off?
(Man the grammar on the question needs work) Some of my keepsakes, maybe, but not most of them. Most things I keep (ticket stubs, receipts, etc) are sentimental because they remind me of whatever happened. It helps when you have a bad memory.
5. What are some of the things you have a strong stomach for, and what are some of the things that can turn your stomach?
People can talk about the most disgusting things while I’m eating and not much phases me, but you put it on The Learning Channel during the surgery show and I’ll be gagging endlessly. The insides of a human body scare the crap out of me.. Oh and a woman’s menstruel cycle scares me to the point that I don’t even like walking down that particular aisle in the grocery store. Go ahead and laugh now.
6. Have you ever been involved in an experience that started out as something good and enjoyable but eventually became destructive and bad for your health (mentally or physically)?
Yeah, my last long-term relationship. Two and a half years of a rollercoaster ride called “Bi-Polar Syndrome.” The good times were really good, but the bad times were REALLY bad, if not worse. In the end I counted my losses and got out of the situation before I sunk into depression so deep I couldn’t claw my way out. That was two years ago…
7. Do you believe in evolution or creationism or something else?
I’m a weird bird when it comes to religion. I don’t belive in one set of religious laws or anything, nor am I straight out Atheist. I’m Agnostic, which basically means I believe there is a higher power out there somewhere, I just don’t choose to put a label on it such as “God” or “Allah” or whatever.
Bonus: Are you trying to tempt me?
Yeah, so just SUBMIT ALREADY.
