The Friday Five

You have just won one million dollars:

1. Who do you call first?
Continental Airlines for a one-way-trip to New York City.

2. What is the first thing you buy for yourself?
Probably either a home entertainment center (6.1 Dolby DTS/THX Surround, 83″ Plasma HDTV, Progressive Scan DVD, and of course TiVo Series 2) or parts for a brand new computer.

3. What is the first thing you buy for someone else?
Probably buy my mom a train ticket to anywhere she wants to go, including room & board in wherever her destination is.

4. Do you give any away? If yes, to whom?
I’d probably give like a thousand to each of my close friends, just because. I mean hell, I’ve got a million, I can certainly spare $10k or so for all my friends. Screw the faceless charities and non-profit organizations. And yes, I am going straight to hell. :)

5. Do you invest any? If so, how?
Probably invest over half of it, actually. Diversify (i think that’s the first time I’ve ever used that word) my funds into several stock options and IRA’s. I’d probably end up living on the interest and profits for the rest of my life. Rock.
